Music Ministry

Choir

Choir meets on a weekly basis on Thursdays at 6:00pm.  Whether you're a beginner or seasoned singer, we have a spot for you!  We've been steadily growing in size for the past few years and have had to build TWO additions to our choir loft.  We sing at the 10:00am service each Sunday, along with special services throughout the year.

Traditionally our women sing on Father's Day and our men sing on Mother's Day.  It has turned into an unofficial battle between the sexes and the jury is still out on which group is better!  One thing is for sure though, we have an awful lot of fun on Thursday nights and Sunday mornings!

Flash Song, Christmas, 2013

Hamilton Mall

You've heard of a Flash Mob?  Well, this is our Flash Song!  Our Music Ministry, led by Missy Schenck, took to the mall to shed some light on the true meaning of Christmas!

A special thanks to Glen Stewart and his crew, who videotaped and edited this for us!

Handbell Choir

The late William Chamberlain (OCHS Choir Director) revived our bell choir before his death in 2008 and since then we have evolved and changed into the bell choir we are today.  Our bell choir plays once a month during our 10:00am service and we have been known to play during weddings and funerals, along with holidays.  We've even taken our "show on the road," and have played for different churches throughout New Jersey.  Our bell choir has even played with guest ringers from our Early Response Teams.
