Melissa Denton Schenck
Music Director
Missy is a graduate of Westminster Choir College and currently teaches general and vocal music at the Clayton J. Davenport Elementary School in Egg Harbor Township. Here at Seaville UMC, she is the Director of Music Ministry where she leads the Seaville UMC Choir, Bell Choir and Children's Christmas Service.
From childhood to present day, music has remained her favorite way to worship. Although she has performed all over the world, some of her fondest memories include singing with her Sunday School friends at Seaville Church. Now grown, she creates new memories every Thursday and Sunday with the Choir and Bell Choir…looking forward, each week, to the fun they have in rehearsal and service.
When not at church or school, you can find Missy singing with the UpTown Singers Community Choir as well as the Cape Shore Chorale. Missy lives in Tuckahoe with her husband, Russ and daughter, Noley.
Serve the Lord with gladness: come before His presence with singing - Psalm 100:2
